Welcome to Wednesday! Penelope’s Pitstop is so much fun for me. I love doing this and I love that someone actually reads what I have to say…With that said, having a new baby and 2 other crazy boys it has become more difficult for me to stay on top of like I would like to right now. Soooo, none other than my sister, Wynne, is going to be a regular contributor on Wednesday’s. Wynne on Wednesday’s, Wynne’s Wednesdays….however you want to say it. I look forward to reading her great finds, myself. So, please join me in welcoming Wynne….
I stumbled upon these great Turkey Molds by Nordicware the other day. They are great for Thanksgiving baking! You can use both sides of the mold to mak
e a 3 dimensional turkey cake…I used a pumpkin recipe and lightly dusted the top with powdered sugar and cinnamon. OR, you can also use one side of the mold to make a turkey cake on a platter. In addition to cakes, it makes a great jello mold. This would make a beautiful Cranberry Nut Jello for your Thanksgiving buffet. Make
sure you dip the base in warm water to loosen the jello salad before turning it over so you get the whole turkey design! Super cute!
I have seen these before and thought they were so cute. It never entered my mind to use half the mold for Cranberry Jello! What a great idea…Thanks, Wynne!
