My first fab find is for those of you who like to organize and for those of you who don’t. This is a “must have” for every family on this earth, no matter how old you may be. Life.doc is a binder pre-organized with dividers and special pages for keeping important papers. You can put anything in here, but they start you off by suggesting, your will and/or living will, home/car/boat insurance, pictures and prices of valuables in your home, location of safety deposit box (and key), details for locations and contact information for all investments. The list goes on. This is crucial for 3 important reasons. First, it keeps you organized period. Second, if there is a natural disaster at your house…a fire, a tornado, hurricane, etc. In an instant, you can grab all your important information and phone numbers by grabbing this binder. Lastly, although not so fun to think about, but what if something happens to you or your spouse, or both? This provides information to someone not living under your roof that might need to help take care of you or your children. Coincidentally, it comes with 3 notecards to give to important people in your life, so they know the location of the binder should they need it.
The greatest part about the Life.doc binder is that it comes with a CD-ROM. It gives suggestions for organizing and best of all, the ability to print all the specialized pages from within the binder should you run out.
