in over 30 cities across the United States. K-Life works alongside churches in the community to teach and encourage kids to be strong in the Lord in spite of all the negative pressures they face as teenagers. Building relationships with kids is of utmost importance in K-Life’s ministry. K-Life does this thru weekly club meetings, small group Bible studies, monthly events and one-on-one time with leaders and kids. Each local chapter relies solely on local donations from individuals and businesses and all money raised goes to benefit the kids directly in each local community. Through K-Life’s highly-trained, kid-loving, deeply committed staff, combined with a fully comprehensive support relationship with K-Life Inc., the future of our youth culture is promising.”
One of the greatest gifts my parents gave me was the opportunity to go to Kanakuk Kamp, a Christian sports camp in Branson, Missouri. I was surrounded by “cool” Christian mentors from colleges all over the country who taught me to be strong in my faith while facing the peer pressures kids encounter in their teen years. K-Life began as a follow-up ministry to Kanakuk so the kids that came home from Kanakuk in the summers on a huge “spiritual high” had a place to go to hang on to that “high” throughout the year.
K-Life came to my hometown when I was 13 years old. The encouragement I received and relationships I made during my high school years was priceless in my walk with the Lord. I was surrounded by incredible mentors and friends that were spiritually mature beyond their years. K-Life is the reason for that. I desperately want my children to have the K-life influence when they reach their junior high and high school years. K-Life is THAT important.
K-Life is a very worthy cause… “Influencing a Youth Culture for Christ” in a culture that points our children everywhere but to the Lord. The Woodlands K-Life began in the Fall of 2009. We have two amazing leaders, an incredible and highly dedicated board, and the potential to impact this community in a supernatural way. We are so excited to see God work in the kids in The Woodlands, Texas.
